Sr Analyst, Quality Assurance Systems

The Sr. Analyst – Quality Assurance Systems is responsible for executing enterprise supplier quality functions including managing supplier database, supplier documentation, product evaluations & dashboards, quality issue reports, and serve as an advisor on best-in-class QA technology. 

This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as subject matter expert with supplier management systems & QA technology (CMX, PLM, BellTower), and in an advisory role in making recommendations on continuous improvement for best-in-class QA systemsSupport investigations and corrective action follow up related to quality issues as reported by restaurants, including maintaining oversight of supplier response to quality issue reportsDevelop and maintain quality KPI dashboards using data gathered from Quality Incident Reports, 3rd party audits, product evaluations and supplier data for monthly-quarterly-annual QA reportingDevelop and maintain product Recall Feeds by brand. Ensure all open/closed store locations are accurate and the feed is “recall ready” at all timesConduct product evaluations (if requested) to monitor supplier performance versus the approved specification. Report data and trends as a result of the evaluationsSupport & participate in quarterly product cuttings with QA and cross functional teams to ensure products meet expectations based upon brand standardsCommunicate quality dashboards in monthly, quarterly, annual reports for the system and suppliers as requiredAssist with the administration of the supplier management system, including onboarding new suppliersAssist with the review of supplier documents and requirements related to approval of new suppliers and facilitiesOther duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Meat Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or related fieldMS in Meat Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Biology or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of food product development, commercialization, and quality assuranceSubject Matter Expertise in food safety and quality assurance technologyFood manufacturing experience required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

A strong understanding of food manufacturing for multiple product categories with in-depth understanding of food safety and statistical process control.Strong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent presentation, and oratory skillsAuthority to implement against all agreed upon and approved supply change strategy as directedAuthority to implement process improvements in contracting once approved
