About the Role
As a Software Asset Management Snr Analyst, you will join our team and help ensure our software license compliance. With your extensive knowledge of IT software licensing principles and passion for technology you will lead our team to greater heights. You will effectively communicate your ideas and solutions while applying excellent understanding of SAM processes.
Responsibilities
• Monitoring and analyzing software license compliance to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Developing and documenting software asset management processes and procedures including maintenance of accurate software inventory records.
• Identifying areas of process improvement and suggesting solutions while researching and evaluating new software licensing options.
• Maintaining current knowledge of software asset management trends and best practices.
• Providing support to internal stakeholders on software asset management related matters.
• Liaising with vendors to ensure licensing agreements are being met while monitoring and respond to software license compliance alerts.
• Developing and presenting reports and metrics on software license compliance.
Requirements
• Have a BSC computer science degree or equivalent.
• Have 3-5 years of experience in a Software Asset Management position.
• Have experience with Cloud technologies and an excellent understanding of the software asset management process.
• Have exceptional understanding of IT software licensing principles.
• Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and identify areas for process improvement.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and utilise various Software Asset Management Tools.
