The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.
The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (“USCM”) manages marketing on behalf of American Express in the U.S. Consumer market with a focus on making membership essential to our customers. This includes acquiring new customers and reinforcing the benefits of membership with existing Card Members. The US Customer Growth Marketing team supports this vision by optimizing marketing of additional products and card features with the goal of deepening customer engagement and accelerating revenue growth.
The Sr. Analyst, Insurance, will join a team focused on unlocking new revenue streams and launching creative marketing programs which expand the number of relationships we have with our customers. This role will specifically be responsible for delivering enrollments and revenue through the acquisition of our fee-based Travel Insurance products. They will manage creative/copy, targeting optimization, reporting and test and learn activities. This individual will work closely with teams across Marketing, Product, Compliance, Enablement, OnBrand, Technology, Data Science & Analytics teams to build engaging marketing strategies and bring them to life for our customers.
The role requires a customer-centric marketer who is motivated by working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, brings good energy, has solid relationship management, and a solution-oriented mindset. It is an opportunity to help deliver marketing for high revenue generating products that deliver measurable and quantifiable results.
Core responsibilities include:
Support the marketing of American Express Travel Insurance, Premium Car Rental Protection and Trip Cancel Guard across channels such as email, web, mobile, media and search in partnership with leader and peers Manage a robust marketing T&L calendar, identifying opportunities to better position the 3 travel products through new placements and creative and copy testing Proactively identify opportunities for growth; partner with marketing enablement and data science to optimize segmentation and flawlessly execute campaigns across channels, leading testing, proofing and in marketing campaign launches Lead the analysis, measurement and reporting out of campaign, channel, and business performance vs. forecast. Translate data into insights and proactively identify key trends which can inform future campaigns Support the development of the channel forecast and monthly reporting/commentary
Qualifications:
Strong marketing know-how. Previous experience implementing marketing plans across channels in a fast-paced and results driven team. Natural team player with strong and effective communication skills who can work collaboratively on diverse cross functional teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Strong planning and organization with ability to lead highly interdependent, complex initiatives and keep various workstreams on track. Creative problem solver with a bias for action and proven ability to adapt when priorities change. Passionate, data-driven marketer with ability to understand and translate data into action items that will drive performance to future marketing campaigns. Great attitude with strong will to win; resilient in the face of challenges Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team 3+ years of Digital Marketing experience preferred Bachelor's Degree PreferredSalary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
