Job Summary
The Sr Analyst, People Analytics will provide our business partners with people data and reporting using tools such as Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI and Tableau. This role will play a critical role in analyzing trends, translating data, and presenting meaningful stories that provide insights that drive business decisions. This role will capture detailed requirements, compile business and functional design documents, translating those into meaningful reports and dashboards for end users ensuring that the data is relevant, timely and effectively depicts the story.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
Responsible for report creation, development, and customization within the company's Oracle HCM system Serves as subject matter expert in Human Resources HRIS system (Oracle) and develops reporting solutions to identify business efficiencies and improvement opportunities using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle BI Publisher Partner with key stakeholders to create reports, scorecards, and dashboards to visualize business performance and trends that help drive insights for the organization Facilitate meetings with business partners to capture requirements, determine reporting goals, and understand the business issue to be solved; design, develop, and build reports that share insights and provide answers to the business issues identified Perform data governance, validation and analysis of all report data to ensure accuracy Create and maintain technical documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures Develop and maintain scheduled OTBI and BIP reports Act as a technical point of contact and conduct user acceptance testing of report writing Maintain specialization in the specific areas of responsibilities through constant learning of new technologies and best industry practices Identify and analyze key trends, presenting them in clear succinct formats Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Associates/ 2 year degree 2 or more years of experience working with or in an Analytics or People Analytics functionPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree 3 or more years of experience working with or in an Analytics or People Analytics functionKnowledge and Skills
Expert experience with:
Reporting and Analytics tools in Oracle HCM cloud (OTBI, BIP, SQL, and other Oracle reporting tools) Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Next Gen Helpdesk, Learning, Talent Management, and Recruiting modules Change management (production migrations) Backend databases including Oracle Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills Writing complex SQLs Understanding of HR data and HR employee lifecycle processes (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), Learning and Development, Benefits and Compensation, and external benchmarking etc.)Experience with:
Understanding complex problems and collaborating to explore alternative solutions Analyzing data, framing hypotheses, identifying key trends and presenting data in a logical, concise manner that tells the story Acting as a self-starter. Working independently to identify, design and implement internal process improvement, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing for greater scalability Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to tailor communications depending on the audience Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word and Visio Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
