About the Role & Team

The Revenue Management & Analytics organization is part of the Commercial Strategy team that supports clients across Disney Experiences including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core proficiencies of yield management, revenue planning, pricing, promotions, and optimization using mathematical and statistical techniques!

Our team has strong communication, partnering, and analytical skills, including sophisticated knowledge of revenue management principles, proven experience with statistical/data science modeling, data visualization, and data manipulation. We are passionate about driving business performance and improving guest experience. We are seeking clear communicators and engaged team members with an eagerness to apply technical and analytical skills to complex business questions.

This position will report to the Manager-Revenue Management & Analytics.

What You Will Do

The Sr. Analyst, Revenue Management & Analytics will support the Disneyland Resort Pricing team by innovating predictive models and data-driven tools to enable more informed decisions.

Predictive Analysis & Advanced Modeling: Leverage mathematical and statistical techniques to develop predictive models that improve demand forecasts and prescriptive models that inform pricing and other business decisions.

Data Visualization: Present complex findings in clear business terms to facilitate acceptance and execution by business partners and senior executives.

Business Goal Achievement: Inform optimal pricing by measuring the success of past decisions and providing science-based and actionable insights on future opportunities.

Partner Collaboration: Develop and nurture relationships with Marketing, Consumer Insights & Marketing Analytics (CIMA), Disney Decision Science & Integration (DDSI), Legal, and Forecasting/Revenue Management to communicate performance, drive new initiatives, and identify strategic opportunities' impacts.

Project Ownership – Own analytical projects from start to finish. Capture inputs and requirements from partners, refine analytical approach, and deliver actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

3+ years of work experience in statistical, business analysis, and/or strategy development.

Proficiency in acquiring and manipulating large amounts of data, applying advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including VBA) and leveraging scripting languages (SQL, python, etc.)

Skilled in storytelling through data integration and visualization– professional experience with one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

Proven experience using statistical modeling, optimization, or data science techniques to drive business decisions and to advise new methodologies to steer strategy – hands-on experience with one or more modeling tools (R, Python, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shift between technical and non-technical terminology depending on the audience.

Proven problem-solving, creative thinking, and partnering skills.

Ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal direction.

Employ a strategic approach to influence organizational decisions on broader ideas and objectives

Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with pricing, revenue management, and/or forecasting.

Understanding of revenue management concepts (e.g., dilution, displacement).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics/Science or Industrial Engineering.

Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Economics, Behavioral economics, or Data Science preferred.

The hiring range for this position in California is $101,800 to $124,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
