Responsibilities
The Sr Analyst Supply Chain Data and Analytics is responsible for gathering and analyzing complex data sets from purchase order, accounts payable, general ledger and other relevant data to identify and determine operational impact, trends, and track supply chain opportunities. This individual utilizes complex technical tools and applications to track a wide variety of simultaneous work streams; prepare concise status reports, organize, cleanse, and analyze supply chain data and connect from multiple sources as well as identify key performance metrics, cost analysis, PO spend, and opportunities for product standardization. This position will design and produce scheduled reports, dashboards, and other ad hoc requests from the Supply Chain Department. Hospital or Supply Chain experience preferred with 4+ years progressively responsible and directly related work experience including knowledge of supply chain analytics. Knowledge and understanding of goals and the interdependencies of functional teams and groups in the healthcare industry and the ability to lead large-scale complex data projects.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will receive direction from the Director of Analytics. Work situations are highly varied, requiring maturity, high degree of attention to detail and independent decision-making. Decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Director of Analytics. Internal contacts include Sourcing Managers, Purchasing Agents, and Director of Operations. External contacts include vendors, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, outside organizations, consultants, and peers.

Salary Range: $92,749 - $114,573 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics,
Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or closely related field required.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics,
Statistics or Engineering preferred.
Experience
Required: 5-7 years knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and Access including 3+ years of progressive data science
experience in healthcare supply chain and / or finance.
Knowledge of Power BI. SAS, Tableau, Alteryx a plus A desire to expand those capabilities is required.
Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the implementation of Advanced Data
Analytics that include: Possessing a combination of analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and reporting
acumen; Displaying proficiency in SQL, or PL/SQL including but not limited to various types of joins and
complex queries and thorough knowledge of various database objects; Possessing ability to understand simple
and complex data structures; Possessing ability to understand data quality and data migration scripts;
Demonstrating proven record in using data wrangling, data conversion, data migration and data cleansing
tools and having knowledge of Alteryx & Python; Demonstrating ability to use data visualization tools such as
Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and/or Prep & Power Query, Power BI Desktop etc. for effective Data Driven
Storytelling; Possessing exposure or desire to learn tools such as R and SAS; and possessing experience or
exposure to mining data to derive meaningful insights using APIs or building ETL pipelines.
Possess basic understanding of accounting practices.
Working knowledge of data flow and impact from / to other systems and processes, including charge master
and general ledger as well as normalizing, vendor management, spend analytics solutions.
Preferred: In-depth knowledge of core Supply Chain Operations including Requisitioning, Purchasing,
Receiving, Invoice Matching, EDI processing, and Warehousing/Distribution preferred.
