Job Summary As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the organization's outgoing payments. Your primary duties will include reviewing and verifying invoices, processing payments through various methods, maintaining positive relationships with vendors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. You will play a crucial role in reconciling statements, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to financial reporting. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Job Responsibilities • Reconcile vendor statement for key suppliers. • Prepare and process payments through various methods (checks, electronic transfers, ACH, etc.). • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and inquiries. • Assists employees, vendors, clients or customers by answering questions related to accounts payable invoices. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: • Experience in account payables. At least 5 years required. • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. • Experience using Microsoft Office Products: Outlook; Excel; and Word. • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven, service environment. • Proven organizational and planning skills. • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. • Able to calculate revenue versus cost versus margin. • Able to work without supervision. Occasionally, will work in a team environment. • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices. • Ability to work overtime. • High School Diploma or GED is required. • Associates Degree or higher is preferred. • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check. • This job description is subject to change at any time.
