3Ci is seeking two Senior Systems Engineers to support their Operations team during a critical year-long project. As Senior Systems Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining stability and reliability within their IT infrastructure with a focus on stability and reliability. You must demonstrate proficiency in wearing multiple hats and contributing to various IT infrastructures.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in system engineering or administration 7 - 10+ years of experience in system engineering or related fields Expertise in Windows and Linux server operating systems General Requirements Proficiency with current server, storage, virtualization, and networking technologies Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Tanium endpoint management (MUST), Azure AD (MUST), Windows Server, VMware (MUST), and familiarity with AWS/Azure Proven stability in previous roles with clear contract explanations Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills

Essential Functions

90 days - establish solid integration with the team and infrastructure 180 days - lead critical projects and enhance system efficiency 1 year - contribute significantly to ongoing IT operations and strategic initiatives Establish and manage IT Asset Management (ITAM) Implement configuration management programs Design, configure, install, and maintain hardware and software systems Monitor system performance and security, troubleshooting issues as needed Develop and maintain system documentation Perform system upgrades and updates Implement backup and recovery processes Develop and automate scripting processes Evaluate and integrate new technologies Participate in system and application design and implementation Perform other tasks as assigned
