+ The Data Domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on managing and leveraging data as a strategic asset. **What you'll do**
+ Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices
+ Devotes time to raising the quality and craftsmanship of products and systems
+ Conducts root cause analysis to identify domain level problems and prescribes action items to mitigate
+ Designs self-contained systems within a team's domain, and leads implementations of significant capabilities in existing systems
+ Anticipates the scaling needs for system components and sizes them appropriately
+ Identifies opportunities for better system observability and advocates for prioritization
+ Partners with the security organization to improve team security practices and guides team members accordingly
+ Evaluates potential attack surfaces in systems under development, identifies best practices to mitigate, and guides teams in their implementation
+ Builds and maintains strong relationships with engineering leaders and business counterparts across squads within their product area
+ Contributes guidance, patterns, and reference implementations enabling consistency, controls, and self-serviceability for adopted technologies
+ Observes their environment and identifies opportunities for introducing new approaches to problems
+ Maintains an awareness of ongoing efforts affecting the strategic direction of the organization and provides input and feedback

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
+ 5+ years applicable experience in the design/administration/ support for data analytics platforms with 3+ in cloud strategy required
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
+ 7+ years applicable experience in the design/administration/ support for data analytics platforms with 3+ in cloud strategy required
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Strong skills in distributed and parallel computing technologies and operating systems like Azure , Amazon cloud architecture and in-memory processing using Spark
+ Any of Azure, Teradata Vantage, Databricks, MS Fabric or Snowflake architecture certification will be plus
+ Good understanding of cloud data security architecture for authentication, multi-tenancy/authorization, auditing and governance
+ Experienced with data analytics ecosystem: data integration, data delivery, data preparation, data discovery, data processing, data storage, data science, machine learning, etc.
+ Aptitude to learn techniques and technologies regarding mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
+ Experienced in object oriented, real time messaging and relational database management technologies
+ Good understanding and knowledge for Software development life cycles; Agile project management methodology is a must
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
+ Interact with enterprise architects, follow guideline standards, communicate and present enterprise data initiatives to the American architecture community
+ Analyze, discover, document, and communicate design options for implementing analysis specifications
+ Ability to be flexible and focused in delivering products with different priorities and timelines
+ Work closely with other system architects to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise needs
+ Interface with management, business analysts, project managers, IT Architects and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
+ Experience in Agile methodologies. Experience in DevOps toolchain and technologies
+ Teradata Vantage , Azure Cloud admin certification is plus
+ Airline Industry experience will be plus
