About the team

The Global Selling Strategy & Operations organization owns eBay’s global business seller value proposition, driving insights generation, annual planning, and operational execution against our global selling strategy. The team is responsible for crafting an outstanding, frictionless end-to-end experience for our sellers that drives top and bottom line growth. The team works with a diverse set of partners across product, operational and go-to-market teams as well as regional market leads.

We are looking to hire a Senior Associate of Strategy & Operations, Global Selling. This person will report into the Principal, Strategy & Operations, Global Selling

Members of the team have a dual mentality. The first is that of a strategic leader—who has a deep understanding of the dynamics of two-sided marketplaces, can break down tough problems into clear frameworks, operate in ambiguity, and possesses strong data intuition and executive-ready communications. The second is that of someone who can move quickly and decisively as an embedded operator not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Forming and driving seller strategy: Lead ad hoc initiatives that are critical to meeting business plans for the year and require cross-functional execution

Delivering key insights: Drive competitor research and business trend analyses, serving as a subject matter authority on competitor value propositions and changes in market dynamics. Translate insights into implications for our seller strategy across both global C2C and B2C selling
