As a Sr Branch IT Engineer (Level 3) you’ll get to:

 

Provide remote and onsite support of hardware and software tasks face to face with internal users, during business and after hours, in a fast paced work environment at client branches, cafés, or office locations located in NYC and NJ area. Post install assistance.  Will be asked to validate issues when they arise. Needs to be mobile and with good use of hands.  Will require to travel to multiple locations in NYC and NJ.  Should have reliable transportation when needed.  Travel expenses covered. Excellent customer service and quick decision-making skills to identify and resolve internal user’s technical issues Provide hardware support on laptops, desktops and printers Advanced networking support (i.e. cat-5 cabling, routers and switches) Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. As a w2 contract teammate Sr Software Engineer your position is highly visible and could lead to extended contracts, consideration for a full-time opportunity within Insight, or with our client to elevate your career.

 

What you will need to succeed:

 

At least 5 years of experience in tech support and administration At least 5 years of remote tech administration and end user support At least 5 years of experience with Windows, MacOS all versions legacy and current At least 5 years of experience with ticketing systems and reporting tools (ie. ServiceNow)
