Sr Broadband Systems Analyst

This position provides Subject Matter Expertise and support for functional applications used by the expanding Broadband line of business. The Sr. Analyst, Broadband Systems supports the broadband line of business using a deep expertise of specific systems and business processes that support our LOB along with a broad understanding of how related enterprise systems and platforms interact as a whole as well as. This position contributes to planning for scalability, sustainability, and future development of a group of systems and solutions. Delivers process and system solutions that enables selling of our products and customer service delivery, that result in a positive experience. Acts as a liaison between cross-functional technical and the broadband product and platform teams to secure alignment of system requirements and solutions. Supports design and successful implementations from concept through launch, and ongoing production support.

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities: 

Provides technical Subject Matter Expertise and drives improvements to one or more core functional applications. Partners with business partners and business analysts to translate business needs into system design and functional specifications.

Design, develop and unit test custom portlets, reports, reporting universes, and enhancements to the toolset based on unique T-Mobile business specifications.

Proactively responds to investigate, analyze, validate and resolve issues for a dynamic and complex tool and environment including the identification and causes of all issues reported.  Investigate and debug issues at a functional level as well as at code level.  Investigate and converse with tool vendor to debug and resolve code-level issues when necessary.

Plan and execute functional acceptance testing and data validation testing or analysis for upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Manages weekly/monthly deployments from enhancement request management, review and approval, solution delivery, testing, production change management and communications. Owns continuous improvement of deployment process. Leads system developers and business partners during implementation phase of applications. Leads the testing effort for new application changes prior to production releases.

Leads data configuration and data quality analysis required for root cause analysis on process or tool deficiencies, measures output and provides recommendations for process improvement. Acts as Liaison between project teams and end users. Documents new processes and provides operational documentation and support of tool and process use. Manage complex tools environment and interfaces with vendors and/or EIT application support on a regular basis to ensure smooth operation. Perform quality review of technical deliverables from downstream vendors and/or EIT partners to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Project Management, or related field; Advanced degree preferred

4 years in systems analysis experience with understanding of strategic business information systems and  production support experience.

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $85,700 - $154,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
