Sr Building Automation Technician (Boston Service Area)

As a Building Automation Technician here at Honeywell, you\nwill play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of\nbuilding automation systems. You will be responsible for installing,\nmaintaining, and troubleshooting these systems to optimize building performance\nand occupant comfort. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will\ncontribute to the success of our customers' facilities. You will report\ndirectly to our Technical Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our Canton,\nMA location serving customers throughout Massachusetts and occasionally\nthroughout New England.

In\nthis role, you will have a direct impact on the energy efficiency,\nsustainability, and overall functionality of our customers' buildings.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation systemsConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal\nsystem performanceRespond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and implement\nsystem improvementsProvide training and support to building operators and end-usersStay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide\nrecommendations for improvement

The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $81,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU\nMUST HAVE

Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation or related fieldStrong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systemsFamiliarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet,\nLonWorks) Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsStrong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
