Join our dynamic team as our next Senior Business Application Analyst. This role will Independently support Cooleemee & Canada distribution center functions by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing systems and all associated products and modules. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring appropriate level of technology service support is achieved for all distribution center associates and also act as a key liaison between DC management team and technical teams to analyze and evaluate WMS functionality to meet business needs.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Support and coverage of end-to-end distribution center system services from application through to peripherals. Manage the warehouse management system (WMS) releases, configuration, and configuration changes. Provide training and technical support for the WMS system and its related equipment. Interact with software vendors to implement software, complete software modifications and upgrades, expedite incident resolution and document solution. Coordinate testing, verification, and implementation of software upgrades, updates, fixes, service packs, and enhancements. Develop test plans, coordinate user testing, and prepare and execute implementation plans. Research and recommend process/procedure and technology improvements within DC systems by incorporating both business and technical knowledge. Research system functionality and possible modifications to assist users in meeting business needs. Support DC Operations to identify process changes, support business objectives and drive efficiency. Troubleshoot day to day issues, identify root causes, escalate as necessary. Support integration of various systems related to business functions at the distribution centers. Responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, and improving on all interfaces of WMS, material handling systems, RF devices, and other hardware (printers, label makers, etc.) Prioritize system change requests with business leaders. Define risks and suggest mitigation plan as appropriate. Help facilitate the clarification of business requirements. Interpret requirements and create technical specifications that can be followed by others. Build technical working solutions based on design requirements.QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Associate Degree Minimum of five years experience working with distribution center (WMS) systems. Minimum three years experience working with IT projects. Understanding of supply chain, logistics and distribution functional concepts. Understanding of detailed system terminology and concepts related to hardware, software, network, and system configuration. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills required. Possess strong analytical skills and clear concise technical writing skills. Ability to manage multiple project tasks and prioritize workload. Thorough knowledge of standard MS-Office softwarePREFERRED:
Knowledge of Manhattan Associates WMi 2016 preferred. Working knowledge of appropriate operating systems and databases is a plus.
