POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for building internal and external-facing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and working with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to build high-performing enterprise solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support existing BI solutions and build new BI solutions with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SharePoint.Support and enhance existing master customer processesDesign and Develop solutions and support the Aspect / Ring Central IVR solutions within the Business Intelligence and Analytics areasWork with Business subject matter experts to understand requirements for the solutions.Conduct peer reviews, provide guidance, suggest & implement best practices and techniques.Adhere to and recommend improvements to project coding standards.Work in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control (TFS) and process documentation.Help implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing, maintaining, enhancing and developing BI technology solutions across the enterprise.Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing BI solutions and environments and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.Develop routines and procedures for end-users to facilitate best practices use of reporting tools and applications.Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred.8 + years of experience with SQL*Server development tools such as Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS8 +years of experience with RDBMS (MS SQL Server 2012/2016).Current, working knowledge of the .NET Framework, including Visual Studio 2019, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services, experience using API’s, R and PythonWorking knowledge of Snowflake and AWS preferredMicrosoft certifications are a plus.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Experience with a mortgage life cycle - Mortgage Origination and Mortgage Servicing is highly preferred.Aspect / Ring Central IVR M3 & Voice XML Studio experience are a plus.Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style. High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong Microsoft Office skills
