As the Senior Business Strategist, you will support the Director of Broadband Strategy, the Broadband Leadership Team, and the Broadband organization in developing, planning, and executing strategic, operational, and financial activities. Your primary responsibility is to have a strategic approach to business planning, identifying sustained improvements to the business, and organic and inorganic growth opportunities. We're looking for a fast-moving critical thinker who drives results through cross-functional partnership and deep analysis, brings a clear point of view, comes up with creative approaches and solutions, and rolls up their sleeves to get things done.This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Modeling business cases and owning workstreams for inorganic and organic growth opportunities and near-term tactics, including but not limited to developing pricing strategies, creating a playbook to address churn, recommending ways we can enhance our product sets, and more
• Evaluating inorganic growth opportunities (wholesale, JV, M&A, partnerships, etc.), through financial modeling, and competitive analysis
• Developing long-range plans for Broadband and setting strategies to achieve our growth aspirations
• Keeping a pulse on the competitive environment and highlighting insights for the Broadband Leadership Team, Investor Relations, and the T-Mobile Senior Leadership Team
• Assisting in fiber integrations and ongoing performance monitoring, including solving strategic questions
• Developing executive materials and storylines for Board of Directors, Earnings, SLT Offsites, etc.
• Owning workstreams and projects end-to-end, and presenting to stakeholders across T-Mobile
No task is too big or too small for you as you collaborate with colleagues of all levels, from Analysts to Senior VPs, to inform the broadband business strategy and plan in the near-mid-and-long-term. You will also help drive special projects for the Chief Broadband Officer and Director of Broadband Strategy and provide exceptional leadership and management to the organization to help the group deliver on business goals.
A big part of this role will be developing key insights, crafting actionable plans, and fostering informed decision-making and recommendations for the highest level of the broadband organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Network, and Technology, and help drive initiatives that propel us towards our business objectives and ensure alignment with our overarching strategies and priorities.

• Financial Analysis: Ability to build financial models and develop qualitative analysis, perform sensitivity analysis. Comfortable reading and understanding implications of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements. (Required)
• Communication: Ability to synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual, and verbal communications. Ability to articulate rationale and present in front of senior leaders. Effective communicator who knows how to bring structure and clarity to situations where direction is limited. (Required)
• Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to think through complex problems. Intellectually curious, enjoys researching about new technologies and products. Natural hustler with a contagious “can-do” attitude. (Required)
• High Performance Team Player: Adept at working with others to overcome obstacles and gain alignment to achieve results (Required)
• Project Management: Ability to think a few steps ahead, to lay out thoughtful and achievable project plans in a disciplined manner. Understand how to engage others and what information and data is needed to achieve goals. (Preferred)
• Telecommunications / wireless and technology industry: Knowledge of the wireless / telecom industry and technology sector (Preferred)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field. Advance degress preferred
• 7 years management consulting, investment banking, strategy, or other related experience requiring quantitative analysis and executive presentation skills.
Prior experience in corporate strategy, product strategy, and / or Telecommunications preferred.
• 4 years strategy and problem solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations.
• 4 years financial modeling and analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex data.
• Experience managing project independently, engaging and getting buy-in from stakeholders, creating roadmaps and project plans preferred.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $129,700 - $234,000Corporate Bonus Target: 20%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
