Sr Business System Analyst

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for contributing to the overall operations excellence of the company by leveraging skills in business process and systems design, documentation, and complex team facilitation. The successful candidate will use design skills to translate strategic ideas into specific details that can be implemented, and clearly understood by business and technical teams. Preference given to candidates that reside in the Hotwire markets (FL, PA, NC, SC, NV, CA, GA, TX, AZ)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transform game-changing ideas that differentiate our company into clear designs and requirements that we can implement through technology. Assist in the definition of project scope, requirements, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to document issue statements, business requirements, and Return on Investments (ROI). Facilitate workshops or work sessions that translate an initiative’s high-level concept into key design criteria. Diagram cross-functional business processes that change, or introduce a new, business process that is feasible to be implemented with people and systems. Document business and functional requirements in documentation that clarify business rules, features, and other critical information in clear terms. Develop comprehensive documentation to support enhancements Using test plan criteria, evaluate if the documented requirements are sufficiently met Own and oversee functional documentation over time as a responsible steward who can explain how processes and systems work such as when encountering a change or issue Monitor progress by tracking activities, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions. Partner with peers within Hotwire to help streamline processes, drive end to end process improvements and efficiencies, and provide overall support to cross functional teams when needed. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in business, design, or information technology. Ability to effectively engage/interact/communicate with all levels within the organization and external stakeholders. Minimum of three (7) years’ experience as an Analyst or in a similar role in an operations, digital/online, or customer experience function. Ability to analyze and interpret data and present visual representations. Expert-level computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio. Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies. Experience in reporting and analysis, and ROI analysis. Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services. Knowledge of cable billing and dispatch systems and Salesforce.com. Must embrace company principles and demonstrate understanding of Hotwire’s “White Glove” culture. Strong understanding of contract language and other agreements. Understanding how service delivery, construction, sales engineering, and project management teams operate. Strong time management and organizational skills and knowledge to meet deadlines. Ability to prepare presentations, summary reports, develop and deliver executive-level communications. Experience understanding various user (internal customer) types and driving their satisfaction and engagement in the tools/software. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
