hardware repairs and locksmithingEnsures all work is completed to meet applicable codes standards and plansRepair worn and broken wooden furniture using hand and power toolsDesigns and constructs structures such as cabinets doors furniture and offices utilizing knowledge of the carpentry trade tools ie measuring drilling finishing etc in order to meet the needs of customer departments in accordance with the blueprintInstalls locks by measuring drilling and mounting locking devices in order to assist departments in maintaining securitySome but not all of these positions determine types and amounts of materials and labor needed to complete projects by formulating plans and sketches so cost can be estimated andor supplies orderedCompletes work reports according to department procedures so appropriate records are maintainedWorks effectively as a team member within the department and with customers to provide quality service to hospital units through communication
