The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr Commercial Analyst II reporting to the Commercial Strategy Manager.

 

This position sits on-site in Miami, FL

 

Position Summary:

The Sr. Commercial Analyst II is a member of the Revenue Commercial Team.  They lead the development, operation, and maintenance of business information and dashboards.  They will be the point person for sourcing and channel strategies designed to support the Sales, Marketing and RM efforts to manage the business. They facilitate expansive reporting on promotional activity with the aim of creating best practices. The Sr. Analyst II uses technical knowledge to solve business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach, employing software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements Improve and maintain reporting structure aimed at improving business performance Work with stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and the RM Product teams to drive sourcing and channel strategies Create PowerPoint decks illustrating key business results and other executive summaries Highly analytical and interested in data visualization Constantly looking to automate their workloads and striving to provide more timely, accurate, complete business analytics

 

Financial Responsibilities:

Key contributor to reporting, systems and modeling of current and expected revenue to support daily and strategic revenue decisions and analyses for the Revenue department, impacting the company's annual net revenue stream of over $2.3 Billion.  Understand implications of guest sourcing and sales channel strategies to profitability.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty 3-5 years of experience in of experience in a RM, Finance, or related field Experience with building and maintaining Excel models Proven ability to develop and communicate key stories utilizing PowerPoint to upper management Proactive work style with the ability to work independently with limited direction Strong analytic skills Able to illustrate and communicate commercial opportunities Interest in data visualization and/or Power BI Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate a certain degree of creativity with analytical and problem-solving skills
