Summary – basic function of the role Manages, analyzes, and optimizes Enerpac compensation programs, including base pay, long and short-term incentives, and market analysis to ensure alignment with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. Shift: Monday – Friday; 8 – 4:30 pm or 8:30 – 5:00 pm; flexible Job Duties and Responsibilities Develops and implements salary structures and administrative guidelines in accordance with compensation policy. Analyzes and benchmarks current structures and recommends changes or opportunities for improvement. Reviews global survey needs and participates in compensation surveys. Develops and maintains compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent and fair pay practices across the organization. Conducts job evaluations and analysis globally to determine appropriate salary levels according to compensation guidelines. Reviews and provides recommendations on salary increases permitted within budgetary limits and according to established compensation policies. Analyzes organizational pay practices and makes recommendations based on market trends, and to ensure internal equity. Analyzes company compensation policies in relation to government wage and hour regulations, FLSA, prevailing rates for similar jobs in comparable industries or geographic areas, agreements with labor unions, and recommends changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive rates. Administers annual bonus, merit and equity processes within HRIS system, including testing, communications, audits and reporting. Provide advice, ad hoc analysis, guidance and support to HR business partners, managers, and leadership on compensation-related issues, inquiries or requests. Provide education and training to managers and HR professionals on compensation practices and policies. Monitor market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may affect compensation practices. Provide support and oversight to administration of deferred compensation and employee stock purchase programs. Skills and Competencies Competence in all Microsoft office software applications with advanced skills in Excel. Strong ability to analyze and interpret information to develop insights. Understanding of compensation structures, salary benchmarking, job evaluation methods, and incentive compensation programs. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration and at least five years of experience in compensation administration CCP designation preferred Physical Demands Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Work Environment Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting, but may also include typical warehouse environment on occasion, where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required.
