JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
Operates and participates in the design and enhancement of the global and regional compensation programsAdvise Americas HR Business Partners on compensation topics to support management decision-makingSupports preparation and execution of annual compensation processes in the regionEnsure Adient Americas’ compensation practices align with market trends and global compensation policiesResponsibilities
Compensation Expertise:
Provide support to the regional HR team on compensation-related topicsAdvise and coach HR team to ensure appropriate job and compensation package assignments, consistent with global compensation guidelinesPrepare and support annual compensation processes including salary surveys, salary planning and bonus administration in the Americas regionAnalyze and monitor market trends to ensure competitive compensation programs in the regionActively participate in benchmarking surveys to identify Adient’s market position and areas for improvementEngage in ad hoc compensation projects with a global, regional, or country-specific scopesCompensation Analytics:
Provide in-depth analytical services on internal equity, external market positioning, cost of labor, pay trends, salary package recommendations, and salary increase guidelinesEnsure accurate recording of employee data in the HR system and conduct audits during quarterly accruals and annual compensation processesAssist with the Executive Compensation benchmarking and analysisCompensation Consultancy:
Provide consultancy to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation actions to ensure alignment with policies and business objectives in the Americas regionManage training activities to build compensation skills and knowledge among the HR groups, managers, and employeesRequirements
University degree in a relevant fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in broad-based compensationAbility to thrive in a structured and independent working environmentStrong intercultural skills and the ability to work and communicate with an international teamKnowledge of general human resources principlesSolid technical skills and understanding of the legal, labor, and economic environment of the Americas regionComfortable working towards deadlines and managing shifting prioritiesAbility to build partnerships with total rewards team members, HR partners, and managers across different countriesDemonstrated project management skills and disciplineAbility to manage small, complex projects or large non-complex projectsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office toolsUnderstanding of data relationships in HR and downstream systemsPRIMARY LOCATION
