We are seeking a meticulous Configuration Analyst to manage and control the technical publications for multiple aircraft fleets and products, ensuring they align with the product structure needs for SNC modifications, the operations for these modifications, and the requirements of the CLS teams' maintenance plans. This role focuses on maintaining configuration control, ensuring that any changes to our products are accurately reflected in the technical publications, and that these documents are kept in the most current approved status. Responsibilities:
Manage and control technical publications for multiple aircraft fleets and products. Ensure alignment of technical publications with SNC modifications and CLS teams' maintenance plans.Maintain configuration control of all technical documents using Microsoft Office Suite and 3DX.Ensure prompt and accurate reflection of any product changes in the technical publications.Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to gather necessary data.Update and distribute technical manuals, ensuring they are in the most current approved versions.Perform regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Provide support to team members and stakeholders on technical publication processes and best practices.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 10 years of relevant experienceA higher level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of Documentation Control Database systemsQualifications We Prefer:
Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill, Enovia 3Dxperience software, and CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, ProEngineer, AutoCAD, CATIA.Background in the Aerospace & Defense IndustryKnowledge of industry-standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware and or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, and production processesUnderstanding of the engineering release and control process for all data associated with system, mechanical, electrical, printed circuit board and/or software productsExperience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828 and/or CMMIAbility to rapidly work on projects involving both small and large Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teamsSkilled in product configuration definition and product structure developmentAbility to generate and maintain Product Structures compliant with all product line items required by various Engineering and Operations groupsCertification in Configuration Management disciplinesEstimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
