Sr Consultant, Investigations
Job Description


Job Summary

As the Senior Consultant, Investigations, you will be a member of Molina Healthcare’s Investigations and Health & Safety team, reporting to the Director. This role will be primarily responsible for day-to-day delivery of investigations program activities, including providing guidance and consultation to employees across the enterprise to ensure compliance.  Support emergent issue intake from Protection Services partners and when needed, escalate to investigations impacting Molina facilities, interests and/or entities. 

This role will partner closely with the Protection Services Operations Center to ensure appropriate engagement and escalation protocols to support investigations of both routine and complex nature. This role will coordinate with MHI, Health Plans, Health Plan Services staff, Human Resources, and Legal stakeholders to consult on the design, development and deployment of tools and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

With minimal director oversight, independently lead or provide support to investigations including: Collect physical or digital evidence and perform detailed analysis Conduct and accurately document interviews Create, update and maintain case management records and systems Act as subject matter expert when conducting or consulting on investigations. Independently craft and/or assist with program and process documentation including policies, procedures, frameworks, templates and work instructions. Produce investigations analytics, process/department performance, and other related reports. Benchmark, measure, and articulate the value of investigatory initiatives, practices and policies. Perform research and analysis to support programs and projects. Prepare comprehensive, timely, and detailed professional incident reports on all inquiries regarding potential and/or actual investigation matters, including presentations on research findings and necessary recommendations. Establish and maintains communication avenues to support investigations and department programs. Establish, maintain and promote successful relationships with law enforcement agencies in all jurisdictions with Molina business/employee interests. Liaison with Protection Services Operations Center to request surveillance footage, access control systems, alarms, or issue alerts (i.e., BOLO) when needed for discovery or case work. Develop and conduct employee training to create awareness for areas of responsibility. May be required to work outside of normal business hours (nights, evenings, and weekends) if responding to emergent investigations.  Other duties as assigned by management

 

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience

Required Experience:

Minimum 8+ years demonstrated experience with investigations, with comprehensive understanding of practice, principles and processes; 5 years’ demonstrated leadership in investigatory programs at a national or enterprise level. Minimum 5 years’ experience across investigations (within HR, emergency response, security or other disciplines) Minimum 3 years’ experience with project management

Required Licensure or Certification: BCI or DRII certification(s); PCI certification; HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP; master’s level certification preferred.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
