This critical learning role is dedicated to developing compelling employee training. Working directly with leaders and colleagues across the business, this individual will lead the assessment, development and delivery of global change learning in support of Change Management programs. 
 
The person in this role is committed to high quality and innovative learning solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of accessible and engaging learning solutions supporting regulatory change work, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. 

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Able to foster relationships and lead discussions with senior management, learning & change consultants and/or subject matter experts to translate business requirements into learning and organization development strategiesCreates / maintains relevant project management documentation relating to complex and high-profile learning and organization development initiativesDesigns (and/or oversees the design of) instructionally sound deliverables using adult learning theories with learning activities which engage and reinforce the learning objectivesDevelops and implements (and/or oversees the development/implementation of) learning deliverables that support business goalsAnalyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of the deliverables and make recommendations for improvementsOptimize Northern Trust’s use of digital learning technologies to meet business needs, including both tools and platforms

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

A College or University degreeEight to ten years of experience in Learning and DevelopmentSound relationship building skills including consulting, rapport building and trustExcellent oral, written, and presentation skillsAbility to synthesize technical information with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong technical skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)Expertise with digital learning technologies (Articulate 360, Adobe, etc.)Mastery in instructional design concepts of design, development, facilitation, and evaluationExperience in project management as it relates to leading a training effortUnderstanding of change management concepts and practices preferred
