As part of our Human Capital Management (HCM) team, the Senior Consultant provides consulting services within our Deltek portfolio to implement client solutions in Costpoint. Specific focus is on our HCM domain modules (Time, Expense, Labor, Leave, Payroll, HR, Benefits, Self Service). Qualified candidates will demonstrate a depth of acumen in GovCon Human Resource processes and core HCM capabilities in utilizing Costpoint. Candidate will possess functional expertise to advise and consult clients with implementing Costpoint Human Capital Management functionality.
Deltek Professional Services ensures client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution. We expect that our consultants use the many resources available at their disposal, take ownership of assigned issues, and follow through on commitments to deliver our solutions.
Candidates in this role will be responsible for the following:
+ Leading and supporting project engagements to ensure smooth implementations of Deltek Costpoint software. This position is a client-facing role. Successful team members are comfortable working in a collaborative project and team-based environment, with Deltek teammates and other Costpoint Consultants within the HCM practice.
+ Supporting all phases of a Costpoint ERP implementation: designing, configuring, testing, documenting, and implementing.
+ Working on multiple projects simultaneously, requiring well-developed organizational, time management, and communication skills.
+ Contributing to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines.
+ Leveraging lifecycle implementation experience to anticipate changes required in project plans and processes. Effectively communicating issues and alternative solutions. Taking initiative to achieve valued-added results and improve upon solutions offered.
+ Managing engagement scope and client expectations. Planning and organizing the work of the team and determining, monitoring, and reporting on project status. Identifying and appropriately communicating license and services opportunities.
+ Developing and fostering collaborative working relationships with customers.
+ Identifying, communicating, and solutioning client issues and challenges.
+ Working collaboratively with clients, project managers, third-party consultants, and Deltek Professional Services staff to utilize Deltek consulting and project methodologies, techniques, tools, and solutions. Working with team members and clients to transfer knowledge of relevant experiences.
+ Assisting with/owning specified data mapping/loading procedures.
+ Updating and creating training materials, facilitating trainings and other events to help share implementation best practices and product knowledge with other consultants.
+ Using non-billable time to learn and test new products and working with clients and prospects to promote additional services and billable time.
+ Supporting business development efforts by estimating work efforts, and performing other business development support activities.

+ The ideal candidate possesses deep skills and a strong background in Costpoint Human Resource / Human Capital Management business processes and data mapping processes including Time Collection, Expense, Labor, Leave, Benefits, Payroll, HR, Self Service, Union / SCA, etc.
+ 5+ years of experience in Consulting is required
+ B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience is required
+ Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate across all layers of an organization is required
+ Ability to travel up to 50%
+ US citizenship is required for this position
