Key Responsibilities, Deliverables & Expectations: + Assist with reviews of key non-standard, judgmental, and complex transactions during the monthly close process + Aid in completion of quarterly/annual schedules that feed into Consolidated Honeywell Financial statements + Prepare and review various journal entries as required by the business + Lead analytical, balances sheet, and account reconciliation reviews of respective reporting entities globally + Provide accounting oversight and guidance + Respond to financial data and accounting treatment requests from Finance, Business Partners, Project Managers, and Analysts; assist Finance in forecast accuracy initiatives + Liaison with regional finance centers and corporate controllers’ team to provide consolidated information for the business + Respond to audit requests and inquiries during periodic SOX and compliance testing + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance the efficiency of financial operations Key Success Factors: + Ability to work in a matrix’s organization structure. + Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to manufacturing operations and to develop working relationships with all involved. + Ability to manage and drive change across functional lines. Learn more about Honeywell: click here (https://www.honeywell.com/us/en) YOU MUST HAVE: + 2+ years of experience in large public accounting firm + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or on CPA path WE VALUE: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance + Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business processes + Strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence others + Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with customers/personnel at all organizational levels in independent and often stressful and ambiguous situations + Project management skills; ability to effectively participate and/or lead projects/teams + Effective listening skills, and flexibility in approach to solutions + Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and organization skills + Innovative; focus on process improvement + Ability to work flexible hours to meet monthly/quarterly closing requirements + Experience in Excel + SAP Experience preferred Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
