Responsible for technical operations of a site laboratory including quality control, preventive maintenance, inventory, troubleshooting and work flow. Assumes a leadership role as mentor and role model to department staff for technical advice and actively participates in problem/conflict resolution. Perform the duties of a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Acts as site manager when Regional Manager is not on location. What’s Required: Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science) and registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or science field related to the clinical laboratory.Three to five years of laboratory experience required.
