Sr Copywriter

**Your Impact**
The Sr. Copywriter will be responsible for developing strategic concepts and copy for various marketing channels. The Sr. Copywriter creates world-class copy that is in the Lowe's brand voice with a demonstrated flexibility to write broad brand messages as well as promotional copy. In this role, they will be confident in peer reviewing the work of first level copywriters.
**What you will do**
**•** Develops creative concepts and copy in Lowe’s brand voice for large scale and complex projects
**•** Mentors and supports first level copywriters
**•** Leads naming exercises for new programs, events and benefits that Lowe's offers our employees and customers
**•** Utilizes data to develop targeted communications for our core customers based on how they shop.
**•** Creates concepts and copy for advertising materials including but not limited to email, radio, digital display, social, in-store signage, videos and articles
**•** Develops platform/positioning work when needed
**•** Collaborates with designers, creative managers, and marketing partners to develop creative and strategic brand communications
**•** Understands strategic insights, briefs and consumer research in order to create concepts and copy that are relevant, engaging and results-driven
**•** Works with cross-functional design and copy teams to create consistent and cohesive messaging
**•** Actively participates in brainstorming sessions
**•** Produces radio spots, including directing talent and editing in real time if needed
**•** Individual Contributor
**Required Qualifications**
**•** Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or related field and 5-7 Years experience in advertising/marketing as a Copy Editor or Proofreader
**•** Strong presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate a point of view
**Preferred Skills/Experience**
**•** Retail experience
