Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Acquisitions Specialist to join the Charleston plant finance department. The Acquisitions Specialist will lead detailed financial planning and analysis for all new business acquisitions for the Electrified Motion division product line. Tasks will include coordination of quoting activities within the plant, multi-year business planning of production costs, unit cost calculation of production costs, and reporting of financial results to acquisition managers and divisional executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within multiple acquisition teams simultaneously.

Principal Responsibilities:

Lead all long-term Financial Planning & Analysis processes for the Electrified Motion division product line as part of the global acquisition teams.Participate as plant finance representative in daily, weekly, and monthly acquisition team meetings.Perform cost calculations based on customer requests for quotations and special projects.Perform investment analysis – discounted cash flow, net present value and internal rate of return analysis.Perform plausibility checks to ensure compliance with all defined premises and guidelines for global quoting process.Prepare and deliver presentations to plant, corporate, and executive management related to standard reporting processes of financial results for new acquisitions.Ensure traceability and compliance with internal procedures through proper documentation and approvals.Support product line with part number setup, costing and release.Evaluate cost savings measures identified within the product line and estimate dollar impacts on new acquisitions.

QualificationsBS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management3+ years manufacturing controlling, finance, or data analysis experience.Excellent analytical mindset, communication, and presentation skillsStrong attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office productsSAP experience preferred.
