Ecolab is seeking a Sr. Costing Analyst to join our Finance team. The Costing Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and controlling organizational costs to enhance profitability and efficiency. This position involves detailed cost analysis, budgeting support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively.
What you will do:
Conduct detailed cost analysis.
Prepare reports on cost trends, variances, and other profitability metrics.
Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
Investigate discrepancies between actual and budgeted/standard costs.
Partner with, supply chain: procurement, logistics, manufacturing… teams to gather data and get insights
Effectively communicate costing impacts to Divisions
Monitor inventory valuation through the year
Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and SOX compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Business fluent in English (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in finance and / or accounting or relevant business experience
5 Years of experience in Finance
1 year of experience supervising others
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze and summarize data and draw meaningful conclusions
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Familiarity with Power BI
Cultural awareness and sensitivity/flexibility in collaborating with people of different backgrounds
Result oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity.
Self-motivated, and both detail and process oriented.
