Annual Wage Range: $172,000.00  - $236,500.00 
Other Compensation:  Eligibility for the Short and Long-Term Incentive program and other applicable bonuses

Job Description

Grace is seeking a Senior Counsel, Global Operations to join our legal team as we grow and develop our organization to build a scalable platform for rapid organic and inorganic growth. This role reports to our Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and is a hybrid role (in office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) located in Columbia, Maryland.

The Senior Counsel, Global Operations serves as legal counsel supporting the Company's global manufacturing, logistics, procurement and global operations activities.  Among other things, they will identify and analyze legal issues, negotiate and draft contracts and other business documents, provide counsel and recommendations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 

Responsibilities Partner with and counsel the Vice President of Procurement related to all types of procurement contracts: IT, consulting, HR, Communications, global operations, etc. Review, negotiate and draft all types of commercial contracts including: supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, real estate, and services agreements, Identify and resolve contract disputes with third-parties prior to the initiation of litigation. Coordinate with other legal experts in specialized areas such as intellectual property, labor & employment, entity management, litigation and tax. Provide additional legal support on other matters and assume other responsibilities, as assigned, including but not limited to general corporate matters. Required Qualifications J.D. with a strong academic record At least five (5) years of experience, including three (3) years in-house handling global manufacturing, real estate, procurement and global operations matters. Strong contracts and manufacturing/procurement/operations background. Proven self-starter, results-oriented, high-energy team player with demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to assume ownership and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, legal drafting, and analytical skills required. Ability to think strategically and tactically. Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and resourceful with strong follow-through skills.
