Description Sr Data Engineer needed hybrid Essential Functions This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage robust data pipelines and architectures. Develop and maintain scalable data processing solutions using SQL, BigQuery, and modern ETL technologies. Create and manage APIs for data consumption and integration with other systems. Optimize data models and queries to improve data retrieval speeds and system efficiency. Oversee data warehouse solutions, ensuring data governance and security align with organizational policies. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide scalable solutions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance data processing, storage, and visualization capabilities. Identify, design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Provide technical expertise to project teams concerning data architecture, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and compliance with industry standards. Adhere to company policies and procedures as they pertain to the Data Engineer’s roles and responsibilities. Provide mentoring for other IT team members. Document and maintain data architecture and processing solutions comprehensively. Stay current with advancements in data engineering and seek out training and detail oriented development opportunities.
