We currently have an exciting opportunity for Sr. Data Governance Analyst to join our Tailored Technology team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Data Governance, this role partners with business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues, manage metadata and data catalogs, and enforce data quality standards. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and governance across the organization. What you’ll do Partner with business stakeholders and stewards to identify and resolve data-related issues Manage metadata, data catalogs, business glossary, and data lineage tool to ensure accuracy and accessibility Conduct data governance training and workshops to promote data literacy across the organization Enforce data quality standards and drive initiatives to improve data integrity Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues Ensure proper tagging, lineage tracking, and documentation of data assets Work closely with the business intelligence and data engineering teams Act as the Data Governance platform administrator What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree preferred in MIS, CS, IM or related field of study 8 years’ of experience in data governance or data management Knowledge of data governance frameworks, business glossary, data catalogs, data lineage, and metadata management Proficiency in data governance tools (e.g. Atlan, Collibra, Alation) and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Python) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and training skills Ability to propose and implement effective data monitoring practices Strong project management skills and the ability to management multiple priorities An ability and desire to be part of a great team If you see yourself in this role, but fall short in any areas above, apply anyway! We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable. Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work environment from our Houston, TX office, or Dublin, CA office or from a remote location.
