As a Sr Data Program Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing data programs and initiatives across the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of data projects, driving data governance, and optimizing data utilization. Your expertise in data management and program management will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and innovation in data-driven decision making.


You will report directly to our Data Program Manager, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by driving the strategic implementation of data programs, ensuring data quality and integrity, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nEvaluate and enhance existing data migration processes across various teams, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals\nGuide and oversee large-scale data migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation\nWork with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and IT professionals, to define migration requirements and strategies\nUtilize Gen AI/AI/Data Science techniques to develop innovative solutions that accelerate data migration processes and improve efficiency\nDevelop detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies\nStandardize data requirements, templates for migration, extraction strategies, testing and measuring productivity through the current Gen AI capabilities, and work with development teams to improve the tools\nEvaluate opportunities for the application of Data Science or Gen AI or AI for data cleansing and data transformation, ensuring data quality and accuracy\nEstablish and enforce data quality standards and best practices throughout the data migration process\nRegularly update stakeholders on migration progress, demand, and milestones\nProvide training and facilitate end-users on new systems and processes implemented during the data migration\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the data migration framework\nEnsure technical teams are reusing the capabilities built and establish governance to follow the defined standards\nAlign timelines across technical towers to ensure seamless integration and migration\n\n

Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements 



YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with a focus on data migration and data warehousing\nProven track record of successfully guiding large-scale data migration projects\nStrong insight into ETL processes, data modeling, and database design\nProficient in SQL and experienced in working with data migration tools (e.g., HVR, ADF, Informatica, Talend, SSIS)\n\n\n
