Sr Design Specialist

Summary: Seeking a Sr Design Specialist to create and review mechanical and electro-mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with engineering and military standards.

Requirements:

Proficient in tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Comprehensive knowledge of military drawings, specifications, MILSPEC/STD's

Minimum 9 years of design/drafting experience using Pro-E/Creo CAD system

Creo 7 experience required

Associate Degree in engineering drafting/design or equivalent training/experience

US Citizen only

Preferred Skills:

Experience with MBD (Model Based Definition)

Understanding of production methods and human factors

Responsibilities:

Create innovative mechanical/electro-mechanical concepts and designs for components, assemblies, tools, products

Review completed engineering documents for compliance with standards, specifications, accuracy

Develop highly innovative concepts for existing product lines and new product development programs

Prepare complex design layouts, schematics, sketches to satisfy system requirements within cost constraints

Prepare drawing packages to military or ASME standards

Check completed layouts, drawings, test plans/reports for clarity, completeness, conformance to standards/codes

Pay: 45-51

Pay Details: $45.00 to $51.00 per hour
