Come join a team that is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve. _This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location._ _This position pays $125,000 - $140,000 annually with a 15% bonus._ **SUMMARY:** **The Senior Director, Correctional Security Administrator is responsible for the overall management of security operations for the company.** **Provides direction to staff and serves as technical resource in matters of institutional security. Develops, reviews, implements, and updates a comprehensive body of FSC and facility security policy and post orders in areas to include organization and security management, physical plant and facility security systems, facility security procedures, inmate management and control, and emergency preparedness. Manages program for facility security inspections, audits, and proactive security assessments of high-risk facilities.** **Responds to emergency situations and conducts special investigations in cases of disturbances, escape, or emergency conditions requiring high-level administrative inquiry.** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements. + Develops, reviews, and updates a comprehensive body of company policy in security related areas. Reviews all FSC and facility security policies before approval and implementation. + Provides on-site technical assistance to facility staff on new policy, procedures, equipment, and redesign of physical plant security features. + Provides leadership and direction in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness to include Incident command, Special Operations Response Team (SORT), escape/apprehension, inmate disturbances and hostage situations. + Develops standards of company-wide uniformity for security systems, equipment and supplies including perimeter security, lighting, locks, security hardware, uniforms, firearms, chemical agents and protective gear. + Conducts special investigations and intelligence gathering in cases of disturbances, escape, or conditions of emergency requiring high-level administrative inquiry. + Assists and provides input to the Training Department in the development of security training material and curricula, reviews lesson plans and conducts special security training and management activities for facility staff. + Reviews monthly security data metrics to identify trends and progress towards meeting enterprise goals.Provides analysis and recommendations to Wardens and senior Operations leadership based on this data. + Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new technologies that solve, enhance, and improve enterprise security operations. + Provides oversight and direction for Security Threat Group, Intelligence, Enterprise Resident Drug Screening Surveillance, and K-9 programs + Administers and provides oversight of CoreCivic's Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms regulatory compliance program. + Develops operational procedures and guidelines for special management/control units. + Serves as operations resource for architectural and design staff in the conceptualization and execution of new and/or renovated facilities. + Domestic U. S. travel is required. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science or a closely related field is required. + Seven years professional correctional security management work experience, including four years of senior level facility management experience at Assistant Warden or above is required.Additional work experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. + Certification as a National Incident Management System (NIMS) Instructor Trainer along with completion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) professional development series in emergency management is required within the first year of employment in the position. + Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the practices and principles of security management, pertinent corrections laws, rules and regulations, and the principles and practices of supervision and training. + Extensive travel is required. + Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite applications is required.
