ATI Physical Therapy is currently looking for a Senior Director of Software Delivery to manage a multi-level delivery team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications at ATI.

 

In this critical role, you will oversee a 3rd party delivery vendor and a team of ATI engineers to ensure strategic projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategic Planning:
• Lead and mentor a team of technical managers and engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful goal achievement.
• Partner with the 3rd party delivery vendor to implement best practices and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
• Align application delivery goals with the organization’s business objectives.
• Manage Vendor relationships from engagement through objective completion.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reporting on progress and areas for improvement.

 

Software Development Lifecycle:
• Partner with the 3rd party delivery vendor to define and execute software development strategies, including Agile and DevOps methodologies, to ensure efficient and effective software delivery.
• Maintain and improve automation of quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of healthcare software applications.
• Collaborate closely with product management, project managers, solution architecture, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure governance of project priorities, product design and successful hand-off to support after release.
• Conduct post-work evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future work execution.

Vendor Management
• Manage relationship with delivery vendor and establish business reviews to ensure delivery objectives are being met on time and within budget.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate closely with senior IT leadership, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment of project objectives, best practices, and successful outcomes.
• Communicate work progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Budget and Resource Management:
• Develop and manage the Delivery Team budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve goals and optimize spend.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare industry

 

Minimum Experience
Required:
• A minimum of eight (8) years experience in agile application delivery, software development, and project management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and leading technical teams.
• Experience in creating processes for multiple scrum-team management.
Preferred:
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office products
• Experience working with Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to build and release new features in an Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) application

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Experience with EMR integration and working with external vendor and service providers.
• Experience with API / Integrations / Enterprise Service Bus and Web Services
• Experience and leadership in design and implementation of API / Integrations services
• Experience documenting end to end solutions and facilitating technical implementation of solutions.
• Business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications, delivering thought-leadership of specific technologies, and driving technology change.
• Building trusted and influential relationships at all levels and engaging with vendors and third parties as appropriate
• Owning and driving thought leadership to influence their sphere of technology in the use of innovation to advance business capabilities.
• Understanding emerging technologies to market these technologies to business leadership and convey possibilities for new ways of working; and,
• Assembling concepts and communications appropriate for specific audiences at all staff levels.
