Sr Director, Portfolio Strategy

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director\nto lead our Offering Portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for\noverseeing the development, management, and optimization of our UL portfolio of\nproducts and services.  This is a unique opportunity to keep Honeywell Fire a leader in early detection technologies. The person will have full accountability for growth of UL portfolio and increase in margin/ revenue against market/ competitors. The role will report to the CPO, Fire.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of\nleadership in product management, ability to provide comprehensive offering to\nthe market, pricing, profitability and growth strategy, exceptional strategic\nplanning skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to\ndeliver impactful solutions to the market.

Travel:  30-40%

Ideal Candidate Experience 10+\n years of experience in product management, with a focus on portfolio\n management or leadership roles. Strong\n leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and\n motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results. Excellent\n strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of\n driving innovation and growth through portfolio initiatives. Exceptional\n communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build\n relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the\n organization. Own the portfolio lifecycle aspects: Phase-in, Phase-out, EOL, Co-own Fire revenue and margin goals for UL portfolio as part of the Fire Leadership Team.Experience\n working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and\n tight deadlines Experience\n working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across\n different regions and cultures. Strong\n business acumen B2B\n experience Channel\n management

Key Responsibilities: 

Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a\ncomprehensive strategy for our offering portfolio, aligned with business\nobjectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities\nfor the portfolio and ensure alignment with broader company strategies. 

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire\nproduct lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, for all offerings in the\nportfolio. Drive innovation and creativity in product development, ensuring\nthat our offerings meet the evolving needs of our customers and remain\ncompetitive in the market. 

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer\nneeds, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for portfolio\nexpansion or optimization to drive revenue growth and market share. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with\ncross-functional teams including product development, engineering, marketing,\nsales, and finance to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitate\ncommunication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product\nlaunches and ongoing management. 

Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute\ngo-to-market strategies for new offerings and feature enhancements. Collaborate\nwith marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful\nproduct launches and adoption. 
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong\nrelationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization,\nincluding executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers. Provide\nregular updates on portfolio performance and address any issues or challenges\nas they arise. 

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key\nperformance metrics for the portfolio, including revenue, market share, and\ncustomer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for\nimprovement and drive continuous optimization. 

Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that all\nofferings in the portfolio comply with regulatory requirements and industry\nstandards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio to protect\nthe company's reputation and financial performance. 

YOU MUST HAVE Proven\n experience (typically 10+ years) in product management and portfolio\n management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Strong\n business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of\n developing and executing successful portfolio strategies. Deep\n understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer\n insights. Excellent\n leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and\n collaborate across functions and levels of the organization. Understanding\n of fire industry and building regulations AOP achievement experience

WE VALUE:
