As a Senior Director, Sales Transformation reporting to our US Head of NA Strategy & Transformation you will play a critical leadership role in identifying and scoping right long-term sales transformation strategy and programs. You will be leading large scale sales transformation program already in motion. The role allows you to work closely with the Chief Sales Officer, Sales Leadership Team and Retail Execution team – a great opportunity to learn broader sales technicalities and leave legacy in our large US business.    

   

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES   

   

Proactively identity growth opportunities that will impact our medium to long-term performance and step-change penetration and market share.   

3-5 year horizon assessment of key sales trends – Mondelez strength and opportunities   

Appropriate external benchmark for large/small players – direct competitors or peers   

Frame & influence next 3-year big projects as per impact, resourcing & ability to execute   

Lead internal process reinventions and implementations, through program design, assessing various opportunities quantitatively, piloting design, reviewing to iterate various workstreams. Partner with cross functional teams to run pilot leading to broader implementation over time.  

Lead high priority pilot roll out of new key strategic designs across regions in partnership with sales execution team. Own the overall program playbook, leading big picture assessment leveraging pilot learnings. Drive iteration and business case with key stakeholders and inspire sales team to execute against the plan.   

Lead additional high priority future sales transformation topics as they emerge with right partnership with appropriate channel/business teams, e.g.,   

Support newer category sales playbook for incoming high priority launches, including route to market evaluation, channel/customer segmentation, sales incentives & plan for store execution   

Stronger leverage across ventures and Biscuits sales organization to leverage scale   

Support regional sales team with comprehensive sales/demand generation approach   

Lead team of 1 Direct Report, inclusive of their management of crucial smaller-scale roll outs

What you need to know about this position:

What extra ingredients you will bring:

10+ years of experience in sales & retail leadership role    

Deep retail and sales acumen with a strong understanding of E2E commercial processes and customer ecosystem   

Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and strategic vision to overcome operational roadblocks   

Exceptional communication, executive presence, and collaboration skills to maintain strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders   

University Degree, Masters Preferred   

For salaried roles based: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $166,700 - $291,725; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. (for Band I+ also include… and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program).
