The Senior Director of Technology Strategy, reporting to the VP of IT Strategy and Architecture, will lead the discovery, analysis, and development of strategic initiatives within the Office of the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO). This role includes oversight for the internal technology consulting organization, strategy analysts and planning, external consultants, the internal technology knowledge management function, and the Change Champions’ network. Additionally, the Senior Director will serve in an advisory capacity to the CIDO and the leaders of the Digital and Technology organization, with responsibility for discovering, analyzing, developing, and presenting business cases for strategic initiatives. The role will focus on driving digital innovation, operational efficiencies, and cultural transformation across the enterprise. **Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Sr Dir, Technology Strategy position is completely 100% remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position may have the potential to travel up to 20% dependent on business needs.** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Strategic Planning & Execution + Leadership of Enterprise Consulting Organization + Advisory Role + Consultant & Vendor Management + Technology Knowledge Management + Change Champions Network Oversight + Cross-Functional Collaboration + Digital Transformation & Innovation + Performance Tracking & Reporting + Financial & Resource Management + Lead a team of up to 20 professionals, including internals consulting, strategy analysts and planners, knowledge management, while fostering a culture of high performance and innovation. **Strategic Planning & Execution** + Lead the discovery, analysis, and development of business cases for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. + Collaborate with the VP of IT Strategy and Architecture and the CIDO to set priorities for enterprise-wide IT and digital strategies. + Develop organization designs and strategies that align with CIDO goals and the LRP for the organization. + Present and sell strategic initiatives to executive leadership, ensuring buy-in and support for key projects. **Leadership of Internal Technology Consulting Organization** + Develop strategies and playbooks for the deployment of the internal technology consultants, as well as trainings to continue development of consulting skills for the internal consulting organization. + Oversee the internal technology consulting organization, managing key strategic initiatives across departments. + Develop KPIs for the technology consulting organization such as utilization, engagement performance and client impact **Advisory Role** + Act as a strategic advisor to the CIDO on key technology and digital transformation initiatives. + Provide insights and counsel to the leaders of the Digital and Technology organization, ensuring strategies are aligned with business goals. **Consultant & vendor Management** + Oversee external consultants working on Strategy transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise strategy. + Manage vendor and consultant selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation to ensure successful delivery of projects. **Technology Knowledge Management** + Lead the internal technology knowledge management function, ensuring that critical information is effectively captured and shared across the organization. + Implement processes that encourage knowledge sharing and promote continuous improvement in IT operations and digital innovation. **Change Champions Network Oversight** + Lead the change champions network, driving cultural and operational change throughout the organization. + Ensure that change management strategies are effectively adopted by stakeholders and embedded in the organization. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** + Partner with technology, digital, and business leaders to ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable business value. + Collaborate closely with the VP of IT Strategy and Architecture and the CIDO to align strategic initiatives with organizational objectives. **Digital Transformation & Innovation** + Lead initiatives to provide strategic guidance on IT infrastructure, enhance digital capabilities, and improve operational efficiency. + Stay informed on emerging technologies and market trends, using these insights to shape strategic initiatives. **Performance Tracking & Reporting** + Monitor and track the progress of strategic initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting plans as necessary. + Provide regular updates to the VP of IT Strategy and Architecture, the CIDO, and senior leadership on project performance and outcomes. **Financial & Resource Management** + Develop and manage budgets for strategic initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with business goals. + Oversee resource distribution across the Enterprise consulting organization and broader strategy team. **Work Environment** + **Remote** : This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $149,900 and $199,900. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $132,600 and $176,900. In New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $157,800 and $210,400. In Connecticut, the expected compensation for this role is between $157,800 and $210,400. In Maryland, the expected compensation for this role is between $141,800 - $189,000. In Minnesota, the expected compensation for this role is between $132,600 - $176,900. In Rhode Island, the expected compensation for this role is between $141,800 - $189,000.In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $149,900 and $199,900. This role is also eligible for annual incentive plan bonus.
