As Senior Director, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, you will lead the development and implementation of state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and technologies to drive efficiency, productivity and intelligent autonomous operations. You will leverage your deep expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, digitization, and production process simulation to lead the implementation of technology to transform Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost performance across Honeywell ISC manufacturing locations.
\nYou will report directly to our VP, Manufacturing Excellence and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nLead the transformation of multiple site processes through the design and implementation of advanced manufacturing process technology to maximize manufacturing efficiency. \n\n\nLead ISC teams, vendor teams and site engagements, manage schedule and budget and optimize automation hardware, software and production process design. \n\n\nDevelop and validate simulation models to predict and optimize manufacturing performance. \n\n\nDrive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes using Industry 4.0 technologies. Develop and maintain the ISC Manufacturing Excellence technology roadmap. \n\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digitization, automation solutions, data models, analytics and artificial intelligence for enhanced production performance. \n\n\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with ISC leaders across Honeywell to ensure solutions align with broader business objectives and influence adoption of technologies. \n\n\n

You Must Have:
\n\nMinimum of 15 years of experience in leading the implementation of automation and digitization in manufacturing operations. \n\n\nA proven track record of leadership in complex, global environments \n\n\nExperience with 3P methodologies including production line design, workstation design, and equipment selection \n\n\nExperience with material flow and logistics, including material handling systems, warehouse management, and inventory control \n\n\nNew facility production process design and launch. \n\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, brazing, soldering and quality assurance methods such as vision inspection, leak testing, and electrical testing \n\n\nExtensive experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. \n\n\nStrong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing. \n\nWe Value:
