Responsibilities
As a member of the nursing leadership team this position is responsible for oversight and facilitation of the assigned nursing departments and is accountable to ensure that all quality and operational goals set by the executive team are met and to ensure adherence to all timelines. This position is to participate with the nursing leadership team to set the strategic direction for the nursing division. This position is accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer and accountable for supporting the nurse management team in ensuring seamless day to day operations. This position will take the lead in facilitating and enhancing physician and guest relations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
BSN required and Masters degree in nursing or related fieldA minimum 5 years of nursing management experience in an acute care hospital and/or evidence of progressive responsibilities over patient care for multiple patient care units. Demonstrated experience with nursing budgets including position control and staffing matrices.Licensure:
CA RN License CPR and ACLS required.
