The Senior Director of Pricing will lead the Honeywell Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) global pricing team by enabling delivery of all pricing objectives and development of a comprehensive pricing strategy for ESS and its businesses, which links pricing to financial performance of ESS Global Business Enterprises (GBEs). Focus will include performance management and ensuring desired results are delivered, pricing tools are deployed consistently across ESS, and analytics are utilized.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying and analyzing price data from a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems using best practices, standard methodologies, and tools. The candidate will have direct accountability and people leadership responsibility over a pricing center of excellence and pricing tool support resources, partner with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) commercial, pricing and finance leaders to ensure organization and processes are aligned with business priorities. In addition, the candidate will work closely with commercial leadership, offering management, engineering, sales organization, key GBE business partners and senior management to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers.
The candidate will define and ultimately be responsible for the pricing analytics teams to track and report Transactional, Pass-Thru, Value, New Products and OEM price agreements’ performance across regions on a recurring basis in line with pricing operating processes while collaborating cross functionally with Business Leadership, Finance, Product Marketing, Sales, and IT to support Pricing practice deployment globally.
Key performance goals include achieving gross & net price targets as well as enabling Variable Contribution Margin (VCM) expansion through pricing activities for ESS. In addition, key initiatives include delivering on pricing transformation actions and implementing standardized price desks across all ESS businesses and drive improvement in win rates and margin expansion through pricing actions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead the organization strategically through change and deliver on goals set for the organization including direct reports and matrix reports
· Manage accountabilities with a CFO mindset. The Sr Director role sits at the intersection of pricing and finance and leads the efforts for the company and business CFOs to develop and execute against pricing strategies which directly drive financial performance
· Link pricing results directly to GBE and SBU financial performance and translate actions into VCM impact
· Run pricing Management Operating System (MOS) for ESS which includes deep dive sessions with GBE / SBU CFOs and Commercial leaders as well as ESS finance leadership to ensure information is flowing and actions are being taken in a timely manner
· Support SEA (Schedule of Executive Approvals) / Standard Price Management (PROS) and deal desk tools deployment globally in addition to global pricing analytics
· Develop and execute GBE level pricing strategies
· Drive and report monthly Price performance on Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru and OEM price initiatives
· Implement, track & report schedule of executive approval, discount management, price waterfall analysis and target price metrics by product lines / customers
· Support annual catalog price evaluation process and contract escalations
· Develop and maintain Transfer Price and Customer List Price in multiple ERP systems
· Develop and implement pricing analytics, tools, and expertise
· Ensure consistent reporting and communication of pricing strategy, deployments and progress globally
· Lead and develop top level global pricing team

YOU MUST HAVE:
· 8+ years of experience driving financial accountabilities supporting a global business P&L
· 7+ years of experience leading global teams
· Demonstrated executive level experience in financial analysis, data management, IT / digital tools
