Job Summary

 The Sr Director Program Management- Racks and Enclosure operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Key Customer production output across Flex Mechanicals manufacturing facilities. This role ensures that all factories operate efficiently, meet production targets, adhere to quality standards, and comply with safety regulations. The Sr. Director will work closely with other departments GAM, PM, supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. This person is able to work from San Jose, CA, USA/ Guadalajara Mex.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop and implement global manufacturing strategies aligned with Flex business objectives.Lead the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization globally.Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track and improve manufacturing and financial performance.Implement best practices and ensure compliance with Customer standard operating procedures across all plants.Address and resolve any Customer operation related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.Monitor and report on financial performance, including production costs, labor costs, and capital expenditures.Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.Coordinate with regional and local teams to address specific challenges and opportunities .Ensure consistent application of global standards and practices across all manufacturing sites.Facilitate communication and collaboration between different manufacturing locations.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple facilities.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel internationally as required.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.Proficiency in manufacturing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Some of our preferred experiences:

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience working in Racks/Enclosures, With Sheet Metal, Stamping, etc
