Sr Director UX

Role Overview
Responsible for designing and delivering intuitive, user-friendly visual interfaces and navigation flows for products. This role involves leading user-centered design efforts, establishing UI standards, and ensuring a consistent, modern, and effective user experience across products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and structure product interfaces, including layout, style, and components.Translate user processes into clear and functional user interfaces and navigation flows.Conduct user research, including customer visits, lab testing, task analysis, and satisfaction surveys, to identify user needs and behaviors.Present usability findings and recommendations to project teams and senior leadership.Develop and maintain UI standards and style guides.Modify prototypes based on user feedback and write final design specifications, ensuring usability and cost efficiency.Ensure interfaces are intuitive, modern, and consistent across products.

Leadership and Strategic Impact

Lead multiple teams of managers and senior professionals to achieve operational and functional goals.Contribute to the strategic direction of the discipline and ensure alignment with business objectives.Develop departmental plans and policies, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational strategy.Deliver results in dynamic, fast-paced, and regulatory-driven environments.

Qualifications and Skills

Functional Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of UI/UX design principles, internal standards, and industry best practices.Business Expertise: Deep understanding of business operations, with the ability to align design strategies with business goals.Leadership: Proven ability to manage and guide diverse teams of managers and senior professionals.Problem-Solving: Skilled in addressing complex, multi-dimensional challenges using innovative approaches.Impact and Accountability: Responsible for team performance, financial oversight, resource planning, and policy development.Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and industry partners.

Recommended Experience

Proven track record in leading user-centered design projects.Experience in setting and maintaining UI/UX standards.Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design insights and recommendations effectively.
