The MCSB SST Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for providing electrical support and ensuring the smooth operation of building functions. This role requires immediate response to emergencies, regular checks of building systems, and assistance with various maintenance tasks. The technician also plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with base Civil Engineering (CE) specifications.

Emergency Electrical Support:

Provide immediate and effective electrical support during emergency situations to ensure safety and continuity of operations.

Daily Building Checks:

Conduct daily inspections of building functions and operations to identify and address any issues promptly.

Contractor Assistance:

Assist other team members by escorting contractors within the facility, ensuring adherence to security protocols.

Compliance Assurance:

Ensure that the building operates within the specifications set by base CE, maintaining high standards of functionality and safety.

Hands-On Support:

Offer hands-on technical support and quick reactions during duty hours to address any arising electrical issues.

Cross Utilization/Additional Duties:

HVAC and Plumbing Support:

Aid HVAC and plumbing projects supporting facility manager and Mechanical Technician, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Rack and Computer Room Contractors:

Manage and support contractors working on rack and computer room installations, ensuring all tasks are completed to required standards.
