**Required Education/Experience**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 8 years of applicable engineering work experience or
+ Master's Degree in Engineering and 6 years of applicable engineering work experience.
**Relevant Work Experience**
+ Exhibit a thorough understanding of plant design, construction, operations, maintenance, and analysis in the utility industry, oil & gas industry, required.
+ Ability to write specifications and standards and coordinate engineering projects and assignments, required.
+ Proficient in engineering design and principles for rotating equipment, including pumps, turbines, and generators, required.
+ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Projects), required.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel on all levels, required.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and sub-projects concurrently, required.
+ Supervisory experience of professional and union employees, preferred
+ Hands-on experience in operations and maintenance of rotating equipment, preferred.
**Licenses And Certfications**
+ Driver's License Required
+ Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to respond to system emergencies
+ Perform heavy manual labor, i.e. push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
+ Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)
+ Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday
+ Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses
**Additional Physical Demands**
+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
+ Must be willing and able to make the required visits to power plants and commercial facilities.
+ Must be willing to work in a generating plant environment.
