Sr Engineering Technician

Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineering Technician at PDS Tech Commercial, you will take a hands-on role in high-volume, repetitive testing of Commercial and Military precision parts. This exciting opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in Pneumatic/Hydraulic testing, pressure testing, and performance evaluations within our Fluid Power lab. You'll be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aviation systems and components.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Conduct high-volume, repetitive Pneumatic/Hydraulic testing of precision parts and units.

Perform performance and pressure testing to validate functionality and performance standards.

Troubleshoot issues and assemble/disassemble test stands to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Lift components up to 35lbs and handle intricate, precision testing tasks.

Record and study time, motion, methods, and speed to improve testing efficiency and establish production benchmarks.

Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment, ensuring all tests are conducted to meet safety and operational standards.

Lead and guide team members when necessary, taking initiative and responsibility for tasks.

Ensure all test results and documentation are accurately recorded and comply with company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.

4-6 years of relevant experience in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining precision parts.

Strong knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems, particularly in a testing or engineering environment.

Ability to lift up to 35lbs regularly.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, taking initiative and being proactive.

Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Fluid Power lab or similar technical setting is highly preferred.

Familiarity with testing procedures in the commercial and military aviation industries.

Experience leading teams or directing the work of others in a technical environment.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.



Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
