As an Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in supporting factory test equipment for our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with engineers and other technical professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality test equipment solutions. Your expertise and technical skills will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

\nYou will report directly to our Engineering Manager and will work out of our Minneapolis, MN location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n\n\tWork with engineers and technical professionals to facilitate engineering projects\n\tTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues\n\tConduct tests and experiments and organize test data to validate engineering designs\n\tAssist in the development and improvement of engineering processes and procedures\n\tPerform build and check-out activities for Factory Test Equipment\n\tCoordinate and perform sub-assembly build, validation, and materials management\n\n\n

The annual base salary range for this position is $59,200 - $74,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience as an engineering technician or in a similar role\n\tTechnical skills and knowledge in engineering ethics and practices\n\tProficiency in using engineering software and tools\n\tCapability of using measuring and diagnostic tools (scopes, meters, power supplies, etc.)\n\tOrganizational and time management skills\n\n\n

\n\n\n\tAssociate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related field\n\tExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\n\tFamiliarity with quality control and testing procedures\n\tStrong problem-solving and thoughtful skills\n\tSoldering or circuit prototype assembly skills\n\n\n
