Sr Enterprise Architecture Governance Analyst

You will ensure continuous improvement by working closely with representatives of the community to improve and document their respective processes and then by training them so you ensure they follow those processes.
In this role you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the IT controls framework, including documentation, risk management, training, and associated processes. Provides oversight of the audit process within IT and the process for tracking open audit findings, test exceptions, and systemic issues. Ensures continuous improvement by working closely with representatives of the community to improve their respective processes and then publish, train, and govern them.

**What You Will Do**
+ Utilizing broad expertise in governance, controls, and risk management, serves as subject expert and provides effective counsel to leaders and business areas on IT controls and audits.
+ Responsible for IT software development lifecycle process improvement, documentation, and the implementation of the controls.
+ Responsible for oversight and coordination of the audit process within IT while working collaboratively with other business areas and external firms to ensure effective communication and management of audits.
+ Identifies systemic weaknesses in IT controls, provides guidance on actions for resolution and escalates issues as needed to get the resources to address issues.
+ Responsible for creating, implementing and managing processes, policies, procedures, standards, and controls for IT risk management
+ Leads IT process change initiatives that are highly complex, have critical dependencies with other change initiatives or established processes, and impact multiple divisions within the organization
+ Manages and prioritizes overall portfolio of change initiatives and collects inputs to define future change initiatives.
+ Monitor execution and adherence to architecture review processes.
+ Drive improvements in the quality of our architecture assets and data.
+ Equip our technical teams to apply governance practices well.
+ Develop and execute reporting that measures progress and helps identify opportunities and gaps that require attention.
**What you Brin**
+ Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
+ 5+ years of experience in related field.
+ In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
+ Project management experience and a bias toward delivering work. Can be formal or informal.
+ Experience in a technical environment on either the producing or consuming side of designs and standards.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, including a talent for visualizing the data.
+ Software skills for collaboration and reporting
**Nice to Have**
+ Skills in documentation and collaboration tools like MS Office (Word and Excel), Confluence (wiki), reporting (Power BI), and diagramming (draw.io or similar).
+ Prior governance experience in an application space (not infrastructure).
+ Certification or training in a related formal technique such as TOGAF or Agile
**Salary Range**
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.

$84,000.00 - $152,200.00
